When I returned to the US after a year in Italy in 2012, I wanted to explore Europe with savings instead of debt. What began as a couple of months in Europe, followed by hopping around visiting friends and family, turned into a career at sea.
My adventures have taken me from the Cruise Director’s staff at Princess Cruises to being an American Ambassador at MSC, and then aboard Villa Vie Odyssey as Destination Manager and Entertainment Manager. Now, I’m back at Princess as a Destination Expert, helping guests discover the places we visit while continuing to explore them myself.
Here, I share the stories, surprises, and occasional mishaps that make this life an adventure. I also share what I’ve researched in my destination roles, from local history and culture to things to see and practical tips for exploring on your own.
